Unity 7 Additional Terms
Published: 6 October 2026
Unity 7 is currently made available as an Evaluation Version. These Unity 7 Additional Terms supplement and are incorporated into the Unity Terms of Service (the "Terms"). Capitalized terms used but not defined herein have the meaning given to them in the Terms.
Because Unity 7 is intended to be accessed and used broadly and on an ongoing basis throughout the alpha and beta period, rather than as a short-form internal trial, these Unity 7 Additional Terms modify certain of the default Evaluation Version terms set out in the Terms: your access to and use of Unity 7 is not limited to a thirty (30) day period, and is not limited to a single individual or employee. You may use Unity 7 for commercial purposes, including in connection with projects you intend to ship. All other terms applicable to Evaluation Versions under the Terms continue to apply.
Unity may suspend or terminate your use of or access to the Evaluation Version at any time in its sole discretion and/or update its pricing or business model (including when the Evaluation Version becomes a general availability product).
Notwithstanding anything contained in the Terms or otherwise, (i) Unity makes no commitments with respect to Evaluation Versions, including any patches, updates, new releases, or any commitment to continue the Evaluation Version or to convert it into a product offering; and (ii) the Evaluation Version may contain code that is still in development, is not fully tested, and may include bugs, errors and faults that may cause total data loss or system failure.
This Evaluation Version is provided strictly on an "as is" basis. This means that we make no warranty or representations as to its performance, reliability, accuracy or suitableness for specific tasks. As with any Evaluation Version product, there may be potential risks such as data loss, interruptions and errors. We are not liable for any direct or indirect damages or losses as a result of using the Evaluation Version of Unity 7.
