Microelectronics is the USA-based sales
and marketing division of Unity Opto Technology
founded in Taipei, Taiwan. Unity has designed
and manufactured optoelectronic devices since
1993. Today, Unity is a world leader in manufacturing
high bright visible LEDs and various IR devices.
Our visible LED portfolio includes popular SMT
and through-hole packages utilizing high bright
AlInGaP and InGaN chip technology. The broad IR
portfolio includes IR emitters, photodiodes, phototransistors,
receiver modules, and photo interrupters. Unity
also offers a variety of LED displays, LCD backlighting
units, laser diodes, and photolink products to
meet a wide range of optoelectronic needs.
Trademarked as Coretek Opto Corporation, Unity also offers
a full line of optical transceivers ranging in
speeds of 100Mbps to 2.5Gbps, with long and short
haul range capability, Dual or Single fiber for
850nm to 1550nm applications. Features include
CWDM, Pluggable (SFP & GBIC), 1x9, 2x5 SFF,
Bi-Directional, Industrial Temperature to -40C
offerings and more. With our LED, FP, and DFB
laser technologies we can provide transceivers
to reach distances of up to 120Km.

ISO-14001:2004 is the internationally
recognized standard for Environmental
Management Systems (EMS). It provides
guidance on how to manage the environmental
aspects of Unity’s activities,
products and services more effectively,
taking into consideration environmental
protection, pollution prevention and
socioeconomic needs.
ISO/TS-16949
ISO/TS 16949 is a worldwide automotive
standard developed by IATF members.
The IATF (International Automotive
Task Force) is a group of automotive
manufacturers (General Motors, Ford,
Daimler Chrysler, BMW, PSA Citroen,
Volkswagen, Renault, Fiat) and their
respective trade associations formed
to provide improved quality products
to automotive customers worldwide.
ISO/TS 16949 is accepted as an alternative
to previous global automotive standards
such as AVSQ (Italian), EAQF (French),
QS-9000 (U.S.) and VDA6.1 (German).
Applicable to sites of the organization
where customer-specified parts, for
production and/or service, are manufactured.
